Table tennis is a fast-paced indoor sport that combines agility, coordination, and strategy. It’s a fun and social way to stay active, improving reflexes, focus, and overall fitness for players of all ages. Our club is based at the Ngaio Town Hall in Wellington, New Zealand.
Founded in 1934, the Onslow Table Tennis Club is one of Wellington's oldest sporting institutions. The club has historically competed in top Wellington and national tournaments, with multiple New Zealand representatives and national titleholders. These days, the club has a more social and collegial atmosphere, welcoming players of all skill levels to practice their game and have some fun.
We play social table tennis for all ages (mainly adults) and skill levels on Thursday nights 7:30-9:30pm during our season. The 2026 season runs from 26 March to 15 October.
There are no ongoing membership fees, each session is $5 per player. All players welcome, we have bats for you to borrow if needed.

Your first session is $2, then $60 per term (including school holidays).
